 Born in Guam U.S.A; Shaleen grew up in the Washington D.C- Maryland Metropolitan area where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland. Shaleen has a strong background in Real Estate Mortgage Finance; as a Senior Loan Officer for one of the largest portfolio lenders in the nation, over a period of 5 years, Shaleen has worked with just about every family financial dynamic. Shaleen later went on to work with a great residential home builder as a New Home Sales Counselor for 5 years where she held an excellent track record and gained great experience in the New Home Construction Process.

 Since relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2015, Shaleen has made North Carolina her home. Shaleen has a lengthy committee volunteer record at her local association in which she has chaired several. For her local service, she was awarded the 2018 CRRA Presidential Award. Since then Shaleen has gone on to serve on several NC Realtors state committees and proudly chaired the NCR Diversity Committee in 2019. In 2020, she continues to serve in leadership in the Real Estate industry and has appointed to serve as a Board of Director for the NC Realtors Housing Foundation and the NAR Broker Engagement committee. Service is always top of mind and is what makes her strong and competent in her career.

 The combination of Shaleen’s experiences allows her to have a unique understanding of her client’s needs. Coming from a military family and later serving proudly herself; Shaleen understands the importance of family, integrity, and efficiency. It has allowed her to develop a strong understanding of relocation and how it impacts the needs of professionals and families alike.
